The last stop is the Grigori Observatory.
We still have a good distance to go, so go ahead and ask questions as they come to you, if you want.
Ever upward/forward/around/sideways/inward they went, pondering just what would happen for Noah to compete for Xuten Grigori . . . Furthermore, how cool would it be if they had indeed picked the right person?

Re: Arrival of Another
The mages advanced up into the White Hall.
Here, we have our mystic infirmary, the White Hall.
It's fashioned after White Mages because they're the basis of magical healers.
You seem to have a good hand on healing duties, but, when things get too rough, this is the place to come.
The young pair moved along quickly, as there wasn't much new to see.

Re: Arrival of Another
The deskhand got back to reading as the others still continued through the massive guild.
Just bad guys.
Yes, there have always been and probably always will be villains, but they haven't quite succeeded before.
I heard that they've come pretty close, before.
That's right. However, when they manage to ally against us, we generally manage to get enough members to stave them off. As a matter of fact, I don't even presently know of any living villains.
Me, either.
They were almost to the White Hall.

Re: Arrival of Another
How about you scram, then, bitch?
You'll see!
Zet and Korg just nodded in confirmation to the white mage's statement, continuing on their way up the guild.

Re: Arrival of Another
Ooh, if only Zerias-G'ol was here . . . You want to take a look around or not? Try some manners...
Ummm . . .
The only other form of residency in the guild is the Grigori Observatory, the Grigori's personal room. We're unsure of the costs . . .
We don't have to pay for ours. xD

Re: Arrival of Another
The desk clerk raised his hooded eyebrows.
Excuse me? We all live by rules, and that includes you. You can't just browse others' guilds and homes at your whims.
The others continued.
Certainly, but Korg and I haven't much tried the pods.
I did once, and yeah, it was pretty cozy, and they're filled with a refreshing mist of some wierd magicite- What was it called again? -that makes it nice and airy.
It's ground vhojixicite, which is dropped slowly into the pods. Vhojixicite produces fresh air toward the direction in which it travels, so the powder has its own air propulsion to keep it from hitting the floor until just before 7 hours are over, providing enough fresh air for about 8 and a half hours. Meanwhile, the floor emits some manner of repulsion field that keeps any such powder from falling onto the person, pushing the powder toward the walls.
Yeah, that's it. The rooms are just pockets of spatial distortion within the guild, which were made by our fourth Grigori.
The interiors are cozy, little studies, replete with space for books and such, and they're soundproof because the spatial distortion keeps all their air within them while allowing them to take air in from the guild and outside. They're also almost completely immune to magic.
Mm-hmm, they're really nice.

Re: Arrival of Another
((You do realize that you haven't gone anywhere, right? You're still back at the entrance, talking to the deskhand, while the others are advancing...))
General whom . . .? Who says that you're going anywhere . . .?
The three mobile mages witnessed another magician cast a spell to reveal an opening in a wall, which led to a spatial distortion of the guild for said other member, then closed behind her.
That's usually how we get into rooms, here. Elsewise, some members ask deskhands or others to press buttons or cast spells for them.
Yeah, but we also have little pods for one-night stays, too.
The youngsters pointed to some of said pods, which were blue-glassed and otherwise ordinary.

Re: Arrival of Another
Um . . .
Probably the first Xuten Grigori, I'd think.
Yeah, probably.
This is Xuten, the guild of magical, astrological, and similar studies . . .

Re: Arrival of Another
The gravity thing is pretty cool, huh?
It was designed so that you're basically on the "floor" no matter where you are.
Faith encountered an invisible wall, knocking her on her ass.
Hello? Don't ignore me. What business have you here?

Re: Arrival of Another
The white mage, Korg, addressed the person in a dark, purple cloak whom sat at the desk.
Hey, was anything decided about Grigori?
We found a candidate.
They gestured toward Noah, who stood shortly behind them.
Uh, kinda' . . . Well, he's the first candidate to come forth, so he can just tour the guild and check things out for a while, I suppose . . . Show him around . . .
The younger mages bounced along, waving Noah to follow.
And, erm, you . . .?

Re: Arrival of Another
((They're all robed . . . There are two Xuten members, a white mage and a black mage . . .))
Hey, rude lady, if you have some business with Xuten, come in. If not, move.
Zet, the black mage that hadn't spoken, brandished a dark purple book, then the entrance to the guild fell to the ground softly, kicking no dust up. The young mages walked around to the entrance and waved at Noah, inviting him to join.

Re: Arrival of Another
Zet and Korg looked at Noah, then at the weird lady. They again looked at Noah, then the weird lady . . .
Erm . . .
This is Xuten. Where did you come from?
