Neru lived in the Lvossivarg Lordl Desert just like Vincent did. They originally met during the three year period that Vincent was on his own in the desert. After their first meeting they ran into each other many times and over time they became what one would call friends. Neru had a run-in with some raiders at one point but thanks to Vincent she made it away without a scratch. After that incident Neru gained a great respect for Vincent and his skills and decided that she would help him any way she could while learning a thing or two from him. One could say that she had become his student in a way. On the day that Vincent fell into the ocean Neru had watched the whole event unfold. Once the raiders cleared out she dove into the ocean in search of Vincent and like him ended up in Houcm where the two met up once more and decided to travel together.
