Suspicious Company

Image
Though this is such a green, bright meadow, it is so barren of life beyond the grass. Not a single structure, not a thing at all is here except that one great tree in the center. Its size contributes to the feeling of emptiness that it incites. While non-grass plants can be magically made to grow here and creatures do travel through, nothing really seems to stick.

As the spiny shelled turtle rushed for the General he would pulse a few times. using the last bit of jump jet energy he had. It would need to recharge now forcing him to descend towards the ground in a path that would both cause the spiny turtle to miss him and cause him to fall 10 meters towards the ground. As the General was falling he would place the Core Blade inside the Shell Blade and hold the entire thing above him using it as a shield

((That's . . . the same . . . thing. Blood, man, just go less distance. It's not complex. The giant lakitu can move around a ton because movement is one of its specialties. Your movement is more normal. You can't just fly around in huge distances.))

[Edited]

Took out the position he was aiming to fall for and made 20 meters into 10

((That works. Next time, though, if you neglect to dodge something in one post, and it is flying at you so that you don't have time to react to it after one post, we're going to ask you to take a hit, so remember to pay more attention to everything in a post, next time.))

*Laola had to focus a less on growing things in order to dodge and move away from the spineys, giving the seeds more time to kill the little things off, while casting a couple skills that would make things much easier.*

Aconitum, Dahlia, Muscari, Dahlia . . .

*The vines and flowers became hardier, which meant that Laola would have to spend less energy to grow stuff back as the spineys slowly trampled them. As the spineys did so, they would also be infected with the poison that starts with gastrointestinal problems, abdominal pain, and the sensations of the mouth and face. They'd die before that poison could kill them, though, since the first Dahlia spell made the flowers all flourish intensely, allowing for bigger seed shots. The following spells were cast on Laola's hand-flower, which had grown to about the size of her head, now. Naw; her head was small, so the flower was actually a bit bigger. It grew into an urn-like shape and flourished, turning it into an effective flower buster. She took careful aim at the giant lakitu as she focused her energy again on growing the vines outward. Just a little more . . .*

_Evidently, this lakitu was smarter and more powerful than so many others, because he held a spiney in each hand and charged them with electricity for a moment. He then tossed them straight upward, and they both bolted down, one after the other, onto Laola. Since tG had protected himself from such attacks, they had both targeted Laola, which meant that she'd take some mean electric damage and be stabbed by the spineys, which would then land next to her and try to crawl at her, again pushing their spikes into her. Meanwhile, the giant lakitu pivoted about the battlefield again, but this time to its left, where it was the last time._

As the General landed on the ground he would immedietly run for Laola, to aid his running he would put Banriu away allowing him to reach his max speed even faster. He would then use his jumpjets to hop overtop the vines hoping to land where Laola was cause he had an idea he wanted to ask her about. This would mean that it'd take a little longer for the cooldown rate to happen.

Urgh . . . Malva . . .

*After Laola got lightning-spiked, the flower buster started shooting seeds with less frequency, but much more power than the other flowers, hammering the giant lakitu powerfully. Meanwhile, cooperating with the slight kickback of the buster, Laola jumped backward to get away from the spineys, which meant that they would probably die before they could get to Laola. She cast another skill to help this along, ignoring tG, since he hadn't actually said anything.*

Lightbringer . . .

*The vines and flowers, save the one on Laola's hand, all became iridescent, making visibility poor for whomever looked on them. Given the low positions of spiney eyes, that meant that the annoyances would have a lot of trouble finding their ways to either of the fighters, which meant that they'd die from the poisons and seeds before reaching either one.*

_Thoroughly confused by the light show, the spineys spent more time trying to figure out a direction than actually making progress, so they died before they could be useful. Meanwhile, the giant lakitu, thoroughly pissed that it was getting shot, reeled in the air, then spun around the battlefield to its far right, then pounded its cloud like a drum while raining lightning bolts down below the cloud, flying over the vines in order to fry them and the others._

the General would still run for his position. Lighting wasn't anything to fear if you've ever come face to face with radion or the Technologigon.

"Laola I have a plan" the General would yell as he kept track of everything around him

*As the lakitu began its lightning attack, Laola changed her plans with the vines and had them grown upwards, uprooting the previously grounded vines into a pillar, casting a skill to make them stack-up easily.*

Sequoia . . .

*She also grew the vines to unite at the top, forming a giant pike. As the lakitu flew to the obelisk, it bent to lash at and stab the lakitu, attempting to knock it off its course. Meanwhile, she kept shooting big seeds from her flower buster. She noticed that the seeds weren't doing much because they kept getting shocked to the point that they were hardly more than dust when they got to the target; the lakitu was sending some bolts from its body to protect itself like that in addition to the storm that was below the cloud. She figured that keeping it busy with the seed shots would make it difficult for it to defend against the giant spike. Although she was listening to tG, she gave no clear indication that she was.*

_The oversized cloud bastard rampaged against the vine-spike, sending lightning to it to partially fry it on its way, then tanked through the reduced attack, having no troubles with the poisons at all, and frying much more of the object as it flew over-through it. While this wouldn't completely decimate the vine pillar, it would incinerate a lot of it. After passing over that and going on for a bit more, the douchebag reverted to its position before ((at the beginning of the last post, a long distance in front of Laola)), then tossed three more spineys at tG._

As the 3 spiney shelled things fell for the General he would glance up noticing their signatures had been detected by his HUD. With this he would lock onto their life signatures and fire off 6 missiles at the spineys. 2 of each missiles would fly for each the spiney. The first missile was a hammer head while the second was an explosive missile.

"Yes, your attacks are stronger than mine are. But that doesn't mean I have to be ignored, it would also help if you had a way to get close to that thing. Unless of coarse you have other ways to do it yourself" he would say.

"Ignored?"

*Laola kept shooting at the giant lakitu while focusing mosrt of her power to growing the zapped plants back together, trying to restore them.*

"Why get close?"

_The flying fuckface dodged some of the seeds with a big move around the battlefield clockwise (to its left), although it was too easy for Laola to hit him again with a couple shots. It tossed three more spineys at Laola as the others died from the missiles._

"Because I am a close quarters fighter" he would say as his jump jets ignited.

In a single quick burst he would be 20 meters in the air. As he did he would fire two hammerhead missiles and fire his binding tethers at the missiles to use them as a temporary flight system. The missiles would be targeted at the lakita. As he moved up he would draw his Banriu and use it as the bashing tool it was to ward off any spineys coming for him
