Bump and a Crash

[Leilani]

"Hmhm, correct. That's a magikarp, a fish pokémon that is almost completely harmless. Well, it's tough, so cooking it isn't easy, especially without cutting yourself on the scales, but it's pretty tasty." ^^

Bianca was such a cute, innocent girl. Lei continued driving as she spoke. They were getting very close to the shore.

"They can get hectic if you let them struggle for too long, though, so go ahead and kill it now. Do you have a more piercing weapon than that whip, or will the whip work well enough for you?"

[Bianca]

While Leilani was speaking, the broad leaves which Bianca had sent had already suffocated the poor fish by wrapping so tightly around it. The Magikarp had stopped moving by now and one of the leaves slipped under the thick, hard scales of the fish Pokemon...the leaf, being so thin but exceptional sharp as a razor, began to de-scale it from the inner layer... Bianca watched on as if she herself wasn't controlling it, smiling slightly. "This should take no time at all...if it is as tasty as you say, then I am sure my first meal here will be a delicacy...thank you Miss Leilani..."

[Leilani]

Lei looked over at the fish.

"Oh, that works. Nice job! Oh, I didn't do anything; this was all you." ^_^

Lei was obviously making an unusual effort to be cheery.

[Bianca]

"Um...thank you.." Bianca gave a small smile as the leaves flipped the Magikarp over to scale the other side. "I am lucky to have met you when I first landed here...I would be lost without you, Miss Leilani.." She looked to her friend and as she did, she noticed land by their right side.... She curiously asked, "Are we...close by our destination by the way...?"

[Leilani]

"Oh, I don't think so. You seem to be rather resourceful."

Leilani was used to her family's machines making everyone's lives easier, but they were always sure to stress independence on their customers. Sometimes, people just weren't very good at handling their lives, but that's why Lei's family was always reminding them to go learn from Noah. Ah, Noah . . . Lei knew that he'd be okay, and they'd be together again soon.

"Yes, the Shallows Village is right over there. I was just thinking that we could get out and walk at any time, so let's do that."

The boat slowed and Lei hopped out. She didn't bother to stop it because it would fade away soon, long before it could run into anyone or anything near the village, as slowly as Lei set it to go.

"Come on!"

[Bianca]

"O-Okay..." Bianca stumbled after Leilani, the leaves with the fish wrapping around it and strapping to the back of her belt securely. The leaves would cool the fish and keep it fresh till it was ready to eat...and since her plants were holding the weight of the fish, it did not hinder Bianca. She jogged after Leilani, all while looking around her to survey the area. It was a pleasant place...and similar to the port towns in Fuukora. "What are we looking for first, Miss Leilani..."

[Leilani]

"You tell me. Actually, how about I just let you do what you want while I fetch the fish from the boat? Take a look around and do what you want."

Lei ran after the boat and jumped into it. It was going slowly when the ladies jumped, so this was not a problem. She stopped the boat and checked the fish coolers. She took a look around the boat to see that neither of them had left anything. As her radar had indicated, they hadn't, but Lei was't sure if maybe Bianca had something that could evade Lei's radar and be set down, so she thought it best to check. She hung out for a moment and wondered how she should bring the fish ashore once the boat dissipated. There were several options, but which would work best? The boat still had a bit more time, so Lei was in no rush to answer her question.

[K]

-On the boat, I was suddenly right behind Lei. I tapped her shoulder.-

Boo. Hmhm, enjoying your new friend?

((For the record, we're not where Bianca can percieve us, now. I'm standing in the doorway of one of the boat's rooms.))

[Bianca]

While Leilani was busy with K (which Bianca did not know), she cautiously explored the town... though the produce and the meats were different, the layout was the same...the place was very nostalgic and Bianca liked it very much. She blushed as a man looked at her strangely...was she oddly dressed...? She looked down at her clothing and saw that one could possibly tell she was from another world...Bianca hoped this place liked outsiders..

((Ah, I figured that you'd get to making your cottage, so I did something to delay Leilani long enough for those events . . . I can stall it more, though. Also, we've gone this long, and this thread is still in Chaos Beach, so do you want to make your village explorations in a new thread in the Shallows while I make one for Lei's and K's interaction? Alternatively, I could just make one for Lei's and K's interaction during the time in which you're making your cottage, and you could focus your RP efforts elsewhere. It's all up to you; what do you want to do, Admin Bianchi? :3))

[Leilani]

"Oh, hi. Heh, yeah, she's nice. What've you been up to?"

[K]

The usual. I've been watching a little group of liliths travel. I told you that they mostly keep to their commune, remember? One of them's striking out on her own, except with a bit of escorting to make sure that she can handle herself, for now.

[Leilani]

"I recall. Oh? How old is she?"

[K]

Five, but she looks older. She has growth magic, and her intellect and maturity are accelerated, too, so she's more like a teenager.

[Leilani]

"Wow, really? So, is it just a sort of young angst thing, or what?"
