WTF is that thing!?

[Beau]

There is a large commotion on the broadway as an enormous beas (Leru) surfaces and drops an unconcious waterlogged girl to the boards.

[Beau]

Leru submerges and swims a short distance away.

[NPA]

The entire village scrambled to man the hidden cannons and other weapons, as well as arming-up the classic way. They were all ready for combat, but didn't attack preemptively. One man and one woman picked the girl up and checked her out; she was alive, and the monster wasn't attacking, so everyone just stayed still. The man cried out,

"SHE'S ALIVE! NO ONE PANIC!"

They watched the creature submerge, so they hesitated a bit, then began to relax. The woman ordered,

"Looks like we're safe! Everyone get back to your lives, but stay wary!

All did just that, save the man and woman, whom simply stood there and mumbled to each other about what to do. Is this chick gonna' go crazy as soon as she wakes up? She's probably hungry . . . Let's see, let's see . . .

[Beau]

However, she shows little promise of waking up soon.
Occasionally she will shift...
And murmer a name...
"Arcanos..."
But then nothing...

[NPA]

"Arcane something . . . Is she trying to cast a spell, perhaps to heal herself?"

"Could be . . . It's probably best if we just set her to rest for a while. Xanreorne's place will do."

Those two easily took the unconscious girl to the nearest house to the east, just outside the broadway. They entered, waved to the purple-cloaked one within it, and took Beau into a room from the northern corner to set her on a bed. They casually stood and made small talk, then sat in nearby chairs and made small talk just after the cloaked one entered to join them.

[Beau]

Suddenly, the girl's eyes fly open and she sits bolt upright!
She shouts out some uniteligeble utterances (almost as if her brain were resting) and falls to the floor.
She lays there face down and groaning.

[NPA]

OwO Everyone stared at the girl with wide eyes, though the woman's were both beadier than the men's and not as inflated. After some more hesitation, the woman approached and stared directly above Beau, wondering if she should help the girl up or back away.

[Beau]

"grooooooooooooooan..."
Beau tries to push herself up and collapses from exhaustion.
"Where am I..?"

[NPA]

"You are in the Shallows Village. From where do you hail?"

The woman helped Beau up as the large man from before spoke. The three minds were racing, wondering if they should mention her entrance . . . or if she knew.

[Beau]

She smiles and states, "I'm from the Grigeri mannor in Archaia!"
She searches her pockets and says, "Oh my... That kind Atlantean did not give me enough time to get any money... if you could give me some food my family will surely pay for it later though!"

[NPA]

?_? After a pause, the woman asked,

"Atlantean, you say? I don't recognize those other names, but Atlantis's rubble is buried far below the Abyssal Sea . . ."

"I believe that I've heard of Archaia before . . ."

It didn't even occur to them how harsh this could've been to the girl.

"I'm cooking some spotty bulborb bits in the kitchen; I'll get you some while you rest. . ."

The purple-cloaked man with the soft, somewhat high, yet firm voice stood and departed from the room.

[Beau]

Innocently, Beau asks, "Oh good! Archaia won the war then?"

*Worried*
"I hope Arcanos is alright... Is that like hairy bulborb?"

[NPA]

The two looked at each other worriedly. What was she talking about? What war? Wait, wasn't Archaia mentioned in some history lesson? What the-

"Yeah, spotty bulborbs are related to hairy bulborbs . . ."

Could she be some sort of time traveller? That made pretty much no sense . . . What if she had been . . . somehow . . . time-frozen for so long? Naw, whom would stick such a seemingly kind girl like that? What if this girl was actually really dangerous? How long ago was that, anyway? Oh, boy . . . The two knew that their questions wouldn't be answered without asking, but how should they go about asking them, in what order, or should they not ask at all? Ugh . . .

[Beau]

"Oh, boy! I'm starving!" ^_^ she smiles humming to herself before noticing...
"Oh, no! What happened to Leru!?"

[NPA]

"What happened to- . . ."

"-l-lee-roo . . .?"

At least this didn't throw them so badly.
