_Oh, the creature tried, but Asher was, in fact, too fast. One bite attack came close! Close only counted with horseshoes and hand-grenades, though. Eh, just another one that got away. The dragon was safe, and it had scored a couple of bodies to munch, so it took back to its business of doing so._

_The mist explosion killed G and Revil, giving the dragon a good healing in the process. The damage that Laola took helped this. The tyrant had nothing else to do, though, so it began to feast on the dead bodies while waiting for enough mana to finish healing itself._

((Daniel is now out of this thread. He can delete the most recent post to the thread between Revil and him in the Crash Pastures and make a new one. Summarily, that just leaves Asher and the dragon.))

_Too late! The dragon sent out a mist flare explosion that covered nearly the entire thicket at an incredible speed, almost inevitably wiping everyone out. Well, no; Laola and her allies would be conscious, but Laola would barely be up, and the dragon would get a chance to kill the other fighters. Sucks to be you!_

_As evidence of the upcoming attack's magnitude, the creature's charge was still in progress . . . -not that the extra time would much help them, necessarily._

_Fortunately for the party, the charge time was indeed lengthened, so the giruveganus-like tyrant was yet static. However, it was still as a statue, so it didn't rear its head back into Blackjack3's blade._

_How Revil just magically knew about the tyrant's phasing ability and could dictate that it always occurred in such predictable intervals was foolish, but irrelevant, as the dragon simply stood there with its body flaring, focusing all its will into charging the oncoming attack in this dimension-intersection._

((Uh, you never said that you could shoot those pulses from your shoulder-mounted cannons . . . I really don't care, though, at this point.))

_Blackjack3's slashes were timed luckily, as they both connected within a single period of physicality. The ice shards were a bit off, though; they all went through the foe harmlessly. Revil's shots were about 75% successful, so the damage was racking up nicely. The tyrant launched an incredibly rapid spin attack that mystically drew everyone in. G was safe, being firmly anchored, and the other liliths were out of range, but all others were almost inevitably doomed to be struck by this fairly powerful tail spin. Even a random, passerby goblin was caught in the mess and mauled, but that attack alone wasn't enough to finish Laola. At this point, though, everyone was in grave danger; the creature held its place as its body flared more than ten times as much as it previously had. This couldn't end well._

((I float, now? I'm quadrapedal? Think more like a misty t-rex.))

_The creature phased through the horizontal attack ((with the small katana, I'm assuming)), and only half of CODRO's bullets struck, as the foe alternated between phasing and reality. The grenade was successful, though, as it detonated just before an instance in which the dragon re-entered reality. By sheer instinct, the tyrant held its place in the dimensions to perform a couple of bite attacks at Blackjack3, which guaranteed the success of Revil's bullets. Naturally, it was the bullets that ran on a replenishing energy source that weren't wasted._

_The foe simply launched another pair of biting attacks at Laola._

_The foe paused to charge up a spell, then almost immediately launched it. It was Thundara, and it targeted G, naturally. After the spell, the tyrant paused, then tried another bite attack at Laola._

_The dragon indeed marched up the ramp and performed a useless tail spin, then paused to figure this out. After a moment, it ran around to attack G from the side with a downward bite attack, thereby trying to rip some of the vines away in the process._

_The foe again swung its jaws at the now less-defended lilith, then tried to trample her to get to the General. If uncontested, it performed its spinning tail attack again._

_Unfortunately for G, though, the dragon had another trick up its proverbial sleeve. As G approached Laola, the tyrant jumped to perform a hard, swift, and well-timed headbutt, almost completely guaranteeing that G's HE would be reduced drastically. It landed in its skewered position and paused, evidently having a wait time after that attack._

_The attack again launched, and it completely ignored the missiles. The missiles and their metaphysical attacks did nothing, just like the seeds that flew through the misty attack. The mist explosion inflicted no harm upon Laola's plants. The dragon phased back into the thorns and stayed stabbed there for a while. It then performed a spinning tail whip in a swift attempt to hurt G, Laola, and the vines that were in the way. During this, the second missile struck its lower back (as it was spinning) and thereby dealt a bit of physical damage, but nothing else; even if it had connected directly with the head, the mental delay wouldn't have even been as long as the ending lag from the spin attack._

_The tyrant stopped to cast Healra on itself again, then its misty body flared up again._
