Vodmire
Unlike most bogs, this one looks rather inviting. Looks can be deceiving. The water may look clear, but it's called a mire for a reason. - 1 Topics

Twisted Fenlands
They're twisted not only because its inhabitants are, but because the fens seem to be physically twisting into themselves. Frogs are still abundant here, despite the handful of nagas, lamias, and liliths that plague the already envenomed marshes. - 6 Topics

Necrohol of Rodentia
This was once a rich kingdom of rodent-people, most resembling rats. Keeping to the stereotype, almost all were honorless thieves. This, of course, meant that the economy collapsed, causing terrible revolts that resulted in the extinction of the entire race, at least so far as any can see. The walls that they once built to horde everything kept the conflict primarily contained and prevented escape from the massacre that made this the Miasma-filled ruin that it is. - 2 Topics

Lunabell Fields
These fields are rich with all kinds of flora, especially lunabells, flowers that blossom, shine, and make pretty ringing sounds in the night. It is typically the most peaceful part of the northern region, though sometimes roughed up by the occasional monster stampede on the way to attack civilization. - 3 Topics

Void Meadow
Though this is such a green, bright meadow, it is so barren of life beyond the grass. Not a single structure, not a thing at all is here except that one great tree in the center. Its size contributes to the feeling of emptiness that it incites. While non-grass plants can be magically made to grow here and creatures do travel through, nothing really seems to stick. - 3 Topics

Shallows Village
The shore is inhabited by many creatures and hazards, thanks to the fact that the entire northern portion of the continent is hostile territory. The locals built a village on the shallow waters. This village is a collection of huts that were built to withstand the tides and attacks. They can readily do so, as the waters are shallow far from the shore on this side of the Abyssal Sea. Despite their peaceful, almost pacifistic appearance, the village is well-defended. - 16 Topics

Nature's Artifice
This was once a temple that was built by zealous celebrants of nature's bounty. As its people began to realize how hypocritical they were, going against their own doctrine to manufacture a temple atop trampled plantlife, as well as when they realized that life's necessity demanded that they consume naturally occurring lifeforms, which was stringently against their doctrine, many abandoned the temple and the faith, while those that stayed starved. - 0 Topics

Abyssal Sea
Although called a sea, these waters go far deeper than the typical ocean. That's no optical illusion; the water is actually black. Both due to its astounding mass and the disability of apparently all forms of vision, the namesake is remarkably fitting. - 3 Topics

Chaos Beach
This southern beach of fused light and darkness is bathed in consistent twilight. It is enchanted by an ever-present moon, Sidu, and its solar counterpart, Jek. The waters are as black as the rest of the Abyssal Sea. - 3 Topics

Mythic Thickets
Like most forests, especially those that are so dense, this one has its fair share of rumors and legends about it, but this particular one has a special significance in the archaic mythology of those who once inhabited Nature's Artifice, and it is still said to be the stomping grounds of more than a few obscenely fantastic beings. Its enchantments constantly shift its geography, giving it a permanent "Lost Woods" effect. Thus, after traveling in it for random periods of time, most prefer to just fly over it. - 4 Topics

Crash Pastures
Once, the manor of a family of wealthy farmers stood on the north end of these farmlands, just off the top of the hill. They always let kids from anywhere roll down their hills, bumping and crashing into each other, doing what kids do best . . . One day, though, as some castle kids came skipping along to perform their periodic play, they witnessed the manor, all but the guest cabins, suddenly vault through the air, crashing near the bottom of its hill. Eerily, the manor was in perfect condition, though its contents, including the residents, had disappeared . . . - 10 Topics

Mistvalley Lake
This valley is almost entirely composed of its lake, so they are referred to as a single entity. From a distance, the crystal-clear waters make a jewel-like scene, and its beauty only becomes more ethereal when one is at the lake, where the mist, the Mist, and the Miasma envelop one in a serene environment, a stark contrast to the monsters that lurk about it. - 0 Topics

Meidkuad Castle
Surrounded by mountains, rolling hills, an open field to a river and a lake, and natural camouflage, being easy to mistake for just another mountain from a distance, this castle seems to have the perfect position for longevity. Unfortunately, monster attacks from the mountains occur regularly, but they at least have a strong watch to protect them. "Meidkuad Castle" is actually the name of the entire castle town. A tall, wavy, mountainous, almost circular wall surrounds the town, which can be described in appearance as a fusion of Rabanastre and Lindblum, and the tallest two towers can be seen peeking out over the top. - 5 Topics

Flint Ranges
This mountain range isn't entirely made of flint, but it's awfully close. This eastern counterpart to the Academy Path is the range to the south of the Meidkuad Castle, which gives the citizens a small commute to its surprisingly robust treasures. - 0 Topics

Academy Path
This floral mountain path is the way to the Atypical Institution. These western mountains are the counterpart to the Flint Ranges, together holding the Mistvalley Lake in their bosom. The Academy Path is the name of not just the trail, but the forest mountain range that holds it. - 4 Topics

Atypical Institution
This school is abnormal in that it's more of a library with some especially helpful librarians. Upon entering from any entrance, one sees a series of four desks on each side of a hallway, each manned by a Sensei. These people will guide your studies, or they can guide you to their teleporters. There is a barrier across the halls before each desk pair, so one can't simply barge in and raze the place too easily. - 2 Topics
