Class Restoration

-I appear in the empty Vuhm house. I casually stroll- well, float, but that's the same thing- around, taking the exhibited mess in for the last time. The house is suddenly gone. Gone where? To a subspace storage pocket, as though anyone can tell. I teleport to a faraway portal, clear in the depths of the galaxy, to that boring realm that Noah, Leilani, Learpabru, and a couple others had built their shop in. 'Twould be such a waste to attempt to do business with people who don't make money and don't appreciate the service, anyway. I fly though the portal, then teleport the shop and its foundation to me. I bring it with me back through the portal, then teleport it to the former location of the wrecked house. The earth kindly makes its way for the foundation of the well-designed building, which settles neatly into place. All that then remains of the Vuhm residence is the empty corral, not that they're likely to have much use for it . . . I imagine each of their faces once they see the familiar structure. Hmhmhm . . . Ah, but there's that bit about Lear's slimes reverting back to energy for her, no? Well, see, I had solved that long ago. I used Cursebrand to possess the slimey coating with an energy bind, so that the beauteous paint job would never evanesce, just as her sensei did for her paintings . . .-

Ahahaha . . . Yes, this'll be fun.

-I sit atop the transplanted workshop and chill for a while, leaning back and using the Grey Earth vines that I grow from atop the building as my lounge cot.-

Fresh from the Mythic Thickets, Lei noticed that she was still alone. She shrugged and walked down the hill to a familiar-looking place.

"Is that- It can't be . . . It is, though!"

Quite confused, she walked up to the front door and knocked.

Hahaha, you don't usually knock on your own door, right?

-I float down behind her with a wide smile.-

I brought it here. It wouldn't be right to just leave it in fucking Escellsia, right?

"Wow . . . Thank you!"

She hugged him and gave him a sweet, little thank-you kiss.

"This will make things much easier . . . I'll have to reunite with Noah before we can really get things going, but this is a great start. Thank you so much!"

Lei smiled warmly and walked on in. It was just as it had been built in Esc, but with the planned reception desk in place. She walked around the place for a while, checking it out to see if anything else had changed. It hadn't, so she just locked the door, hopped up onto the desk, and took a nap.

Lei woke up after a while. She reclined and stretched as she glanced around. After springing up, she briefly strolled around the place, inspecting it to be sure that everything was savvy. Nothing had changed; there were no invasions or anything, to her knowledge. I can get to work on some stuff, here, but I have little to work on, and I need to learn about this world's resources. I also need to find Noah. She looked to the front door and saw the key that hung from the doorknob, just as K had said long ago. With a small smile, she took it, exited, and locked the door behind her.

“Now, I just need a sign to- Oh. Of course.”

She saw the sign that had been placed there, presumably by K. Problem solved. As she stuck the key into her hip-pack, she thought, I guess that I'm good, then. I'll just head southeast to that mountain, since it looks like it has some tower sticking out of it. Hence, that is just what she did.
