The Past: Terah was born on February 6th in a small orbiting colony know as Sweetwater. This colony is home to a species of humans known as Newtypes, they unlike the Oldtypes of Earth have learned to live and thrive in space and as a result their bodies have naturally gotten bigger. Terah was born in the East Asian sector of Sweetwater to a Shrinemaiden and a Sensai. Tenkyoken her father was an honourable and noble man who practiced the art of the sword most specifically a long katana. Tenkyoken's favoured weapon was the Bering Straight which would be handed down to Terah when she became of age. Terah's mother Kikyoken was a spiritual priestess shrinemaiden who learned the art of spiritual being and would teach this to Tenkyoken and Terah.
As Terha grew up and lived with her parents she woud eventually take up both their arts though mostly focusing on the sword. She would also join the Kendou club in school and eventually become Club Leader. One day while at home Tenkyoken would approach Terah and in a very traditional Japanese way would present Terah with the Bering Straight Katana and give her a lesson on what this sword meant to the family. He would then stand up back away and brandish a blade of his own challenging Terah to a spar to see how much she had improved. Terah would being the one with less experience fail and because of this would skip classes and train instead eventually dropping out at age 17 to train. In the 5 years leading up to the present Terah would learn many techniques from her mother and father, including the ledgendary Sengekyo Tenkyoken.
Ate age 21 Terah would be woken up to the sounds of gun fire screams. She would grab the Bering Straight and rush down stairs to find her father and mother fighting off hordes of mechanical demons. Her father would tell Terah to run and as Terha left the Shrine she would look to the great glass panes of Sweetwater and see Houcm in the distance. Her mother and father as hard as they tried would die in the onslaught. To get away they had stored a mecha know as Gerbera under the shrines pond. The mecha as she emerged from the home would be there fully dressed as a samurai with a great sword bearing the name Gerbera Straight. Falling to her knees Terah would cry and as she did machine demons would surround her. As she was surrounded Gerbera would activate and would turn to face her speaking the words of her father
"With this Gerberan you shall be lead Straight to Houcm"
Gerbera would draw it's sword which was identical to the Bering Straight and would begin slaying the demons in order to protect Terah. Unknown to Terah was that inside the Gerbera her mother had spiritually bonded her father's soul to the machine so that it may aid her the day he died. All but the cries of Terah would befall the shrine as she lied there with tears in her eyes. Saying the word's Father, Terah would rise to her feet and Gerbera would unfold revealing a spot for Terah to sit. Terah would board the Gerbera and with that the Gerbera and Terah would head towards Houcm to see what lied outside the now abandoned colony of Sweetwater.
Personality:
Terah is a very intelligent, athletic, and naturally talented girl, leading her to easily learn her father and mothers arts with relative ease. Terah acts with what may be called determination, persistence, or resourcefulness as well as ruthlessness and hyperactiveness. Terah has a very competitive personality and accepts without hesitation any challenge that crosses her, regardless of difficulty Her constant optimism and over-confidence makes her seem arrogant. She has very high standards and won't accept anything less than perfection from herself. This can sometimes make her seem selfish and unkind.
She is not shy and often attracts a lot of attention to the point of not minding what others think of her, she is very physically fit and wears her Miko around everywhere. The Gerbera is very precious to her and she so no signs of ever letting it be damaged or loose it paint colour. She will go to any lengths, even by exploiting others to gain what she wants.
