tG: Teaching Me Japanese

How do you unite the French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, and all other peoples together? Speak very generically. Most of us speak English as a first language, so it's safe to lump all the others together as classes of secondary languages.

Which part sounds familiar the numbers?

And yes...Shougun was used for very long time Japanese military soldiers so I am not sure if they have some synonym for a modern Japanese general.

And I used the edit button below my post...

No, the part about "boku" being used by comedians to establish a feeling of familiarity with the audience. I think that part of it has to do with the fact that comedians typically portray themselves as immature people, a matter of playing the fool for people to point and laugh at, as well.

That's really wierd. I mean, anyone can use that button on their own posts, and no matter where an admin clicks to edit a post, the edit counter and most recent edit time is not recorded for admins. However, it is ALWAYS recorded for normal users, and I believe that it includes mods (though I have the mod permissions set to disable editing of others' posts, last that I checked, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it). That is a very strange glitch, I suppose.
