Voukxoh Hasta (
vɒk-xo
hæ-stə): The winged lance, which is strangely earth-elemental, deals physical damage, but the opponent's DEF is not considered. In stead, this weapon deals damage that is reduced by the target's RES as though it were magical damage, but effects that apply to physical damage (such as Protect, Earthen Wall, or Null Physical) are applied. When performing a thrust attack, the Voukxoh Hasta allows its wielder to kick off the air for more power, speed, and range.
Cyclone Feather Duster: This weapon uses an average of the wielder's MAG and STR to attack in bursts of wind and/or feathers. The feathers serve as edged projectiles without elemental affinities, and the wind bursts . . . should not require an explanation. Both are metaphysical attacks, relying on the enemy's DEF.
Exelovich (ɛx-
ɛl-o-vɪč): This feathered bow is quite powerful and nearly weightless. Its design makes it capable of multi-loads with above average efficiency. The bow auto-repairs itself if damaged, and it does so at a fair rate. Arrows are usually made from bird bones, talons, beaks, and feathers, which makes them very lightweight and wind-elemental. (3,000)
Beak Buster- When an arrow is knocked, Tori can delegate the arrow to be a Beak Buster. In such a case, the arrow deals 1.25 times the normal damage to most targets and 1.75 times the normal damage to winged targets. The drawbacks are that Tori must spend half a second to focus the bow's power into the knocked arrow, and the arrow travels at 2/3rds of the normal speed.
Talon Strike- When a knocked arrow is at least 75% made from bird or dragon parts, not including the fletching, its power is multiplied by 1.1 (before DEF reduction).
Rocket Bust- With a thrusting motion, Tori can launch her bow forth to slam into a target powerfully and quickly. After travelling 10 meters (variable by Level), the bow returns to its owner in the same orientation that it was launched in. Before throwing her bow forward, Tori must take half a second to rear back. While the attack is exceedingly powerful and fast, it also deals recoil damage that is equal to 1/12th of the damage that is dealt.
Featherguard- As long as the Exelovich is equipped, all projectiles that hit Tori are reduced to 0.95 times their power (before defenses).
Double Bird- While Exelovich is equipped, Tori can perform an aerial jump that is equivalent to her ground jump off level ground without flapping her wings, granting her a backup for aerial maneuverability in case flight is forbidden.
Bloodroost: This katana is constantly blood-soaked. Its sheath is a strange bird with bound legs; by petting the bird that can't be targeted by anything but this action, Tori causes the extradimensional bird to summon the katana into Tori's hand. The katana deals 1.1 times the normal tissue damage (can pierce skin, feathers, scales, exoskeletons, and other shells more easily; can cut through bodies more easily), but 0.8 times the normal HE damage. Each strike heals Tori's tissue health by 1/10th of the HE damage that is dealt.
Winghammer: Despite being made of enchanted feathers that one might expect to be edged, this weapon hits bluntly. It is actually wielded more like a single-edged sword than a hammer, since it is equally effective all along its feather "blade," but, when it hits, it feels like a big hammer. Its strikes have a slightly reduced flinch factor, but an increased launch factor. As expected, it is incredibly light, but not as light as it looks; it weighs approximately 8 pounds.
Bladewing Hairpin: Tori's hairpin makes her wings and feathers always act as sharp, edged weapons that can't harm the wearer. Tori can thereby use feathers as makeshift knives, and her wings act as particularly effective combat limbs.
Feathered Headband: This headband grants two abilities: Condor Drop allows Tori's descent rate to vary at her will anywhere between 0.75 to 2.5 times her normal descent rate. Heron Rise allows her to lose quite nearly no altitude whatsoever when gliding, thereby allowing her to conserve vasts measures of her physical stamina. Objects that are not living can be stored extradimensionally in the green feather, allowing Tori to hold as many items as she wants without having to actually bear their weight. Although it is originally a headband, it can be adjusted to act as a bracelet, armband, legband, ankle bracelet, necklace, or other adornment without losing its effects.
Sharpsoar Armor: Tori's armor can teleport onto her body if she holds it in front of her. While worn, it increases Tori's STR, DEF, MAG, RES, and SPD slightly (one asterisk each) and multiply wind-elemental damage to her by 0.75, but multiply fire damage to her by 1.25 and bring her 1.5 multiplier on electric damage to a 2.0 multiplier. Aside from those factors, the armor allows Tori to turn feathers into needles of red, non-elemental magic. It does not grant a new way to launch said needles, so it doesn't help Tori to attack more, but it allows her to turn her attacks against targets' RES, rather than DEF. This can't be equipped in a laguz animal form, Valor Scholar form, Wisdom Harpy form, or Gemini Peacock form.
Fili Emblem: So long as she is equipped with this accessory, Tori does not have a weakness to arrows. Normally, she would take 1.5 times the normal damage from arrows. That would suck.
Wingrings: These rings of magical stones are able to be tossed at any three avians that Tori controls. They resize upon being tossed to fit the target flier. When equipped with these rings, the fliers are immune to friendly fire from Tori and can not leave her control unless she is dead. The PS expenditure that normally occurs when Tori commands fliers is reduced to 0 for those whom are equipped with Wingrings. If commanded to return to Tori and/or follow her, the avians' movement speeds can be increased either to Tori's exact movement speed or exactly double that. When returning to Tori's immediate area, they take halved magical damage. At all times, they are also granted "Regen," by which they regenerate HE over time at a fairly decent rate. At Tori's command, the Wingrings can be passed to other avians that are under her control.
Egg Grenades: Thrice per day, Tori can enchant an egg to act as a grenade. Coincidentally, Tori lays three eggs per day, and they all have the perfect size and shape to be thrown as effective grenades. They detonate remotely by Tori's will, and the radius of each explosion is 10 meters, variable by Level. They only count 1/5th of the target's DEF and have a moderate power factor, but they have obvious limits. Tori has a shoulder belt that can hold up to 9 eggs, contrary to the pic, for immediate use, but extras can always be stored in Tori's Feathered Headband.
Books: Tori has various books stored away that she's reading, but she fuels her Papermastery with commonplace notebooks. She has a
lot of them, and they're largely reusable. (3,000 pages)
Avian Saddle: Tori stores this underbelly saddle for friends to ride large, allied avians. It's also a backup in case her wings are somehow disabled, as long as she has an allied flier to help her around. It's pretty much just what it looks like, and that's it. It's made of tanned wind behemoth hide, so it's sturdy, but not terribly heavy.
