Blind and Bedlam

{Len successfully removed said splinter and all the rest, sans one, which was similarly stuck. Fantastic. He struggled with that for a while as Tixxi looked about for an easy way out.}

*Ceo was aware of his current surroundings and continued on his way. After a while he would eventually sit on the ground, close his eyes, balled his fist and put them together, and finally took deep breathes for as long as he held the meditation pose.*

"Divines who shine and guide us, surely this place isn't as mysterious as it lives up to. The dangers are real of course but it isn't invincible, there is a sign that you have to show me atleast so I may find my way out the labyrinth of cruel nature."

*Ceo meditated as well as prayed to help clear his mind completely and to contact his religious idols.*

{Len eventually got that splinter out and just relaxed for a while. Tixxi didn't see an easy way out, so she had to waste some chakra to summon a strong enough geyser for her to jump in and launch herself up to the surface. She shrugged and looked around to see if there was anything else around to deal with before walking forth again.}

[NPA]

_There was. What looked like a smaller land worm squirmed and slithered around the hole from behind and shot a small sandstorm from its mouth at its new prey._

*Ceo finished his meditation and his eyes changed from green to yellow showing that his entire personality has changed and he is now calm and collected. Ceo rushed off through the thickets running quickly but not as fast as he could for he was saving up as much energy as he could.*

[Tixxi Eldixac]

((Welcome back.))

{Tixxi shielded herself with her arm fins, not really reducing the damage, but at least keeping the sand from her eyes.}

Tixxi: Hi. Nice to meet you, too.

{She cast Imx on herself, then Awnuwo Slipstream on the giant worm to test its water resistance.}

[NPA]

_As the little water streams hit the creature, Imx was not used, so it apparently had no resistance to water. It was a slow-going creature, so it didn't get the chance to do much as it simply slithered toward Tixxi._

*Ceo pushed on through and would sometimes launch himself off branches to give him more speed without having to waste much energy.*

((Any time.))

{As her slow foe had been further slowed, Tixxi decided that the swiftest way to end this would be to keep this advantage going. She shot an Eskufij Flashfreeze to test its ice resistance (and wear it down), then another Awnuwo Slipstream to further slow and slightly damage it. Len, meanwhile, got up from his break and headed into the nearest grove of inconveniently thick plantlife.}

[NPA]

_Imx was still unused, so the worm's ice resistance wasn't any more than the norm, either. It was slowed a bit more and worn down a bit, then it lost track of whatever it was doing and went with another small sandstorm shot._

[Adambomb]

<^>Len was conveniently now at the south border of the thickets, just east of the center. Komo landed atop what looked much like a blocky pyramid (very similar to the temple in Sonic Adventure) as soon as he stopped swinging. WTF?<^>

*Ceo just continued going his way but stopped jumping off branches just in case.*

"Hmmm wonder if I've been going in the same place or actually going through the thicket...."

*Little did Ceo know he was atop the pyramid he went on but stopped suddenly before he stepped off the edge and noticed where his location was.*

"W-what!? This thing swallowed a pyramid too!? Heh not too shabby strange new world maybe I should meditate here as well so i may draw a new map forward."

*Ceo got into his meditation position, took three deep breathes, closed his eyes, and began his meditation and prayer to the Nine Divines.*

[Tixxi Eldixac]

{Tixxi again just shielded her eyes, then shot another combo of Eskufiji Flashfreeze and Awnuwo Slipstream while she backed up. She looked around to be sure that she wasn't backing into a bigger threat as she moved. Len looked around to confirm his position, then started walking slowly south.}

[NPA]

_The worm was getting dumber by the moment, with those ice attacks. It slithered toward Tixxi steadily, but very slowly. Should it attack? Um . . . Yeah. It shot a sand ball. It was as weak as it looked. It didn't think to inhale enough to restock ammo._

*Ceo stopped for a moment and breathed in taking all the air in and swaying a little. This was a peaceful place and this is where he found himself able to concentrate.*

"Still loving this place ahahaha!."
