The lady nodded in agreement as the man spoke of this apparently common knowledge. They continued to eat up.

The two again looked puzzled, but they guessed that Beau must not have gotten out much, else she was from a different planet.

"We're at the northwest corner of the Abyssal Sea, just south of the Lunabell Fields and west of Nature's Artifice."

They just sat and thought for a moment. The question was redundant in a manner that had not been utlilized in a long time, but that wasn't so odd.

"Um, it's just our village. Far from where, exactly?"

The two Shallows citizens looked at each other in a most befuddled manner, then back at Beau with unfaltering expressions.

"What the piss are you talking about?"

They asked this in perfect unison, as though it had been planned.
